6) For next week.
Proceedings:
Today we discussed commodities, and the need for a units ontology to support the work. There are a number of units ontologies that people use for various purposes. We are considering (1) QUDV - the SysML model of units that we used as the basis for the minimal set of units currently in FIBO - see https://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/ssn/ssnx/qu/qu, (2) QUDT - available at https://www.qudt.org/, (3) the NASA SWEET ontologies that are widely used in healthcare - https://bioportal.bioontology.org/ontologies/SWEET, and potentially others. There are several papers that provide discussion and comparison of the work - http://www.semantic-web-journal.net/system/files/swj1708.pdf, https://www.researchgate.net/publication/317122869_A_Survey_on_Units_Ontologies_Architecture_Comparison_and_Reuse, https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/B9780128097649000020 which are under review.
