Discussion: A statistical region may be as broad as the entire country, including or not including territories, and could actually be broader than an entire country, such as the EU. Add a class to Economic Indicators for Region (or StatisticalRegion, equivalent to PhysicalLocation in Foundations, but defined according to examples such as those from the US Census Bureau). Also add Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is missing. We also need to raise an issue against Foundations to include Nation, which is a GeopoliticalEntity but not necessarily the same as a country, to include, for example, the sovereign areas where first peoples live.
There is a conference at/sponsored by the St. Louis Fed, "Beyond the Numbers" in October, which we should participate in. Discussion will include some of the data that the Fed manages, and there should be interest in what we are doing here. Dan has an accepted paper in the conference, and we should talk with the organizers to see if there would be interest in a FIBO presentation.
