Proceedings:
Discussion of preferred share terms - redemption provisions apply to preferred shares but also to mutual funds. It has different meaning depending on the kind of instrument, so we probably need a higher level redemption class (i.e., move it to under contractual commitment), and then specialize for the various instruments.
We currently have:
- hasTimeToMaturity - in financial instruments
- ExtensionProvision
- RedemptionProvision - needs to be split into subclasses for debt vs. preferred shares vs. funds
For Income - we have preferred cumulative, but should also have the various rates - fixed, participating, variable, variable/adjustable, managed -which is at the discretion of the firm, auction
