Decisions
Primary issues discussed include volatility – current definition is for price volatility, and needs to be more general, with price volatility as a child of volatility. Also need a sibling of price volatility for rate volatility, of which fx spot volatility should be a child. David Saul (Unlicensed) will ask someone on his team to review the definition and see what other volatility definitions we need.
hasTenor – some questions came up around the definition of tenor, which is distinct for loans vs. derivatives. David Saul (Unlicensed) will have someone on his team review the definition we currently have for the property to let us know if it is ok, or needs more work.
Establishment vs. Enterprise – reviewed the definitions, and grabbed the US Census Bureau and SNA definitions for these terms (in the JIRA issue) for use in revising them. Establishment should have a different relationship with enterprise than a parent child relationship potentially, and there should be some property with respect to location on both, such that an establishment must be at a single location whereas an enterprise may be at multiple locations.
