20170821 FIBO FBC FCT
Pete and Elisa have been finishing up the FTF for Languages, Countries, Currencies. This is coming up for the September meeting. The work is in good shape; however it impacts several other specifications. LCC includes all the ISO country codes from 3166.
Region codes are in other files, but referenced. (one huge file seemed problematic). This requires more extensive changes than initially anticipated. So, there was more work to be done. The implications for FIBO flow through Business Entities and then through other areas, including FBC. Languages Countries and Codes (not currencies).
Proposal: hold back the FBC rtf report to the December meeting so that Foundations, BE, FBC, etc. are all in synch. Advantage of this approach: synchronization of related specs and more robust testing. FBC work will continue, and ballots will appear in anticipation of the September EDMC FIBO release.
