6. Statistical datatype families:
   
   1. Nominal – unordered named categories
   2. Ordinal – nominal categories that are ordered
   3. Interval – quantitative data where differences between values are meaningful
   4. Ratio – interval data where a value of zero means absence of the quantity measured
