Proceedings:
Today we talked a little about strategies going forward, particularly with respect to mapping ACTUS contract types to FIBO. One concern is that we need to make sure that we don't have duplicate properties depending on the instrument across FIBO, and that we are reusing the same property to represent the same notion regardless of the kind of instrument. We've done a lot of that kind of consolidation over the last several years, but this mapping effort will help us find any places where that is not currently the case. We will continue the discussion on the best approach for doing this, possibly using the JSON rendering of the ACTUS model to create an ACTUS classification scheme / ontology that we can use for this purpose.
