Discussion included definitions of Exposure, Holding – hierarchy might look like:
Exposure – top level in FIBO hierarchy
Financial Exposure
where exposure should have a general definition, and financial exposure should be defined with respect to some holding of some asset and with respect to some organization that has the exposure. Other potential subclasses of Exposure would include Legal Exposure, Credit Exposure, Credit Rating Exposure, etc., but these will not be addressed in this version of FBC.
Holding – should be a subclass of Ownership
where holding is defined with respect to ownership of some position in some asset (could be partial, shared, etc.)
Also – revise the definition of the Fed to be a SelfRegulatingOrganization whose identity is that of an instrumentality.
