JIRA issues

Action items on Wiki page:  Looking for the Power of Attorney, appears not to exist. Must be added.  We need to look at the Quantities and Units ontology.  Will be able to use CCM in its next version to consume/produce RDF/OWL.

John Gemski:  Why is there no 2nd tool for making up the spec diagrams.  Dennis: we use VOM in the spec because it produces OMG compliant UML models. Only one currently. A 2nd tool, conceptual model of NoMagic, will be available eventually. In short term, Lisa and NoMagic cooperating to provide the tool for those who need it.  JG: what tool will we tell a client that they can use? DW: It depends what they want to use the spec for. Some tools can consume the spec in part. It will not be UML unless you are using VOM.  MB: Using OWL for prototype now, but Lisa has said she will do the VOM from detailed descriptions in Word that MB is working on.

JIRA spreadsheet: Word files now link to its issues. The docs have the resolution details to date.  When resolutions are related to other JIRA issues, that is noted and cross referenced.

Overview of issues, then worked on FND47.  Commitment/obligation discussion. Difference between PaymentCommitment and FinancialCommitment.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bank_payment_obligation

Add reference to REA ontology but only update the necessary pieces to solve the JIRA problems. Then when new concepts are requested we have the link to the intension. This is a possibility.  Need to reconsider ocurrent wrt the transaction ontology too.
