Need to focus on LCC alignment.
FIBO improved OMG LCC, then OMG improved FIBO LCC. Now FIBO needs to incorporate this improvement.
Need to look for ways to decouple UML classes from the packages they are in. MB to CC Is there an update on this. CC is doing equivalences the main thing? MB Yes. CC rather than split the architecture, do this in OWL because not implemented in CCM now. ACTION MB to raise a JIRA. CC Equivalent properties should work now. Equivalent class needs the work.
In LCC alignment slide 13 shows resolutions. CC could FIBO and LCC request an OMG common name space? This would benefit both. EK is the primary LCC submitter. CC could leave them where they are. Create common ontologies then make equivalent classes. This would be easy to do.
Slide 14 shows 4 classes in question. Location solution could be to deprecate this concept and replace with LCC. But, FIBO policy does not require this.
Geopolitical entities will be deprecated.
FIBO needs countrySubdivision.
Country name goes away.
