20170926 FIBO CFTC IRS Pilot
We will take old data from swaps that were exercised and not actual, therefore the id's will be nonsense.
Newman trip cancelled in Oct.
JN will give the dummy data to Dean. Dean gives it to Author Keen.
JN: Produce Conceptual and Logical diagrams if possible and a DD. These are after some general reporting.
DA to JN: What is a data dictionary? DN: Query the full set of elements that belong to a composite structure, i.e. an interest rate swap is a composite structure.
DA and DN meet 4 Oct in DN's SFO office to design this.
DN to JN: Tell us the necessary elements for an IRS to represent a visual and a list of fields. Fields and definitions and relationships in a DD format. Industry definitions, not SDR Definitions.
For the Pilot, we can do what was done earlier for the SS like earlier, only with more data. We will stick with Cambridge Semantics, not Axxis. We stick with the SS use case.
JN: Max and Dean came up with several very good use cases. Position of avg interest rates, etc. This should be good enuff. Don't need rigorous business use cases. Need IT shop to buy in. Then, we get the commitment and resources and can do more work to do more.
ACTION: JN will write down req'ts for DD and send it to everyone on this meeting
ACTIION: Ask EK how much of the modeling work is done and where it is?
DA: Wants to be sure that the FIBO DD meets CFTC needs. What is the Glossary missing?
