Business' relevance

Clinical trials (also known as a clinical study) are research studies performed in human volunteers, according to a comprehensive protocol, to evaluate a medical intervention, primarily for it's effectiveness in treating a disease and it's safety profile compared to a current standard treatment. CQ5 thus aims to link an authorized medicinal product to the clinical trial in which it was administered in a structures and standardized manner. Linking of these information will be highly valuable in the areas of pharmacovigilance, adverse event reporting and risk management.
