UC3-CQ1.1: What substance <S> is part of an authorized medicinal product that is approved for a given therapeutic indication indicated by a MedDRA ID <I>?

Business' relevance

This question is bridging the three worlds of Manufacturing, Registration and Therapeutic Indication. In most pharmaceutical companies the response to the above question is spread between the manufacturing site, the CMC and RA colleagues. To be able to link a defined substance to its MAA (country specific) and trace back the MedDRA code is a difficult and time-consuming operation. Having this information could allow to better identify opportunities for Line Extension for some Substances (e.g., close indications that could be registered) and identify redundancies in order to better govern the overall portfolio.
