Proceedings:
Started with a discussion on what's happening in the statistics working group. They are still very early stages, though, and will let us know when they start to have more thoughts on requirements for work they would like to do.
Reviewed recent revisions to the corporate actions ontology. Agreed to rename the ontology we have to SecuritiesRelatedCorporateActions, with the intent that there will be a second ontology (which will take precedence ultimately) for BusinessRelatedCorporateActions or something like that.
See https://www.iso20022.org/15022/uhb for a complete list of the current set of codes for corporate actions. There is a spreadsheet including data fields, available there and uploaded here.
Note that some of these have recently been deprecated, such as PRII. There is a document that discusses changes that will be included in the 2020 release, available at https://www.swift.com/sites/default/files/documents/sr2020_mx_updated_high-level_information_2_0_fasttrack.pdf. For legacy support, we could include those that are deprecated with an annotation that says exactly that.
Pete will take the action of creating a working document for us extracted from the attached spreadsheet where we can track the status of these codes and where we can determine which ontology they go in - business or securities related, among other things.
