20170109 FIBO-SEC FCT

 

FBC: number of open issues in JIRA.  Will review two weeks time .Today: SEC Anticipating some reconciliation between our work and some new GitHub pushes from MB later this week.  Notably in Debt Terms likely iteration on both sides to settle on single set of ontologies.

 

Guarantee: issues raised by Mike Ushold regarding the pattern used.  Should there be a comment regarding guarantee vs guaranty?  No restriction regarding the domain on guaranty.  Resolution: add annotation comment to guaranty/guarantee to make it clear that they are not related concepts.

 

Comment on FBC-100 has been added.  REMINDER: slide 9: consider raising issue against BE and adding DebtGuarantee and make this a child of GuarantyDebt Instrument: latest draft definition included...all else the same as ever.

 

TradableDebtInstrument & Non-TradableDebt Instrument: no major changes.

 

SettlementTerms to FBC hasSettlementDate, sameOffering: updated definition--more general than the, essentially, security offering (which persists).

 

SecuritiesOffering: needs another property that reflects the idea of evidence.  On discussion...we are good.

 

A securities offering is, itself, a contract. Just not the actual securities contract.  OfferingDocument: a kind of contract document (which is OK) DebtOffering: a kind of security offering.  Definition Sources for Calls and related concepts: apparently covered, MB to confirm.  CashflowTerms:  seeking clarification on state of work on SwapsDerivativeContractParty: by request.

 

New class.  Tweak to definition of DerivativeInstrument: changed "owner" to "holder".
