Reviewing SEC open issues. (there will be some overlap)
EK aiming to get a number of issues sorted prior to Ottawa.
ACTION: EK Either get the SEC action items done, or raise JIRAs and park them.
Systematic Internalizer issue from last week sorted: kind of Exchange--bit of an odd bird, but captured properly.
Needs to be made disjoint with a few items referenced in definition...perhaps. Details TBD.
Good bit of work went into definition of Exchange and Business Center.
Jeff Braswell raised the issue that, at least in the past, ISDA made some IP claims on some of FPML controlled vocabulary items that we are leveraging. Likely need to sort out, but unclear how...perhaps better to ask forgiveness than permission??? Or wait for someone to consider it an issue ?
Discussion of how much of MIC codes we can automate--part of issue is that items are identified by legal entities, which are independent things, and there is no map of ownership provided.
