Proceedings:
This week we reviewed the changes made so far in SEC-73 (see pull request #1016 in GitHub, which is a work in progress) to enable representation of the CFI codes for clasifying equity instruments. We added one additional class to the equity instruments ontology during the call, for 'common, voting, unrestricted, fully-paid, registered share', which corresponds to one of the most common CFI codes for equities.
We still need to decide whether we should (1) create an exhaustive set of classes corresponding to the possible codes, and annotate those classes with the CFI codes, or (2) create a code set for the codes and enumerate them in the code set ontology, but only create classes for the most common combinations. Elisa will create a couple of examples and we will explore this topic further next week.
