Proceedings:
Today we focused on one JIRA issue, namely FBC-257. We agreed to revise the debt terms / redemption terms hierarchy to make redemption provision a direct subclass of contractual commitment rather than of principal repayment terms, given that it applies to preferred shares, as a starting point. That led to refactoring conversion and redemption provisions more generally, and we also eliminated a couple of unneeded intervening classes that were not widely used and that didn't have restrictions that we need.
Results from the work we did can be found in github, which is linked with FBC-257, now committed in git and hopefully will be merged later this week so that this coming Monday we can continue working on preferred shares (which required this change).
Please note that our WebEx details have changed. There will be a new meeting link starting with Monday's call. Regular participants are aware that this is coming, and apologies to everyone else for the email spam. Our original WebEx meeting product, which we've used for many years, has been retired by Cisco and will be eliminated at the end of next week, so we had no choice. The new meeting product allows for direct use of Skype to log in, for members that use it, among other new features. We also have the option of using other global dial-in numbers, so please reach out if you need that information.
