Discussed using the use case of representing an equity and subsequently a bond to the degree that we can support mapping to a master file, and documenting that use case as well as the relevant concepts in the ontology, providing a "how to", as the next steps for this FCT activity.
Next steps:
- Draft the use case
- Get sample data from DTCC and Bloomberg
- Compare the sample data with the ontology to see if we can map it
- Create the mapping and identify gaps
- Revise the ontology to fill those gaps
- Document how a FIBO user might use the ontology to map their own master file data to FIBO
Artifacts that should come out of this process include (1) documentation of the use case, (2) the mapping between FIBO and the example master data, (3) the sample data used for the mapping.
