Today we looked at an example of a warrant that Pete was working on, and confirmed that he could represent a particular equity warrant using a property ‘indicates number of shares’. The name sounds a bit awkward, but it works for this case.
We then started looking at what to tackle next, walking through some of the remaining open DER issues in Jira. We agreed that our next project will focus on cleaning up and making the derivatives master agreement ontology available for release, which is the only remaining provisional ontology under DER. We will also start looking at some of the more complex Debt instruments in SEC, such as CMOs, CDOs, etc. that we have not yet started to clean up.
John will review the current derivatives master agreement ontology to get a sense of what’s there as a starting point.
