Discussed representation of indices from the perspective of rebalancing them.
- Need to update the definition of the S&P 500 - some notes:
The S&P 500 is calculated by adding each company's float-adjusted market capitalization. In order to be included in the S&P 500, a company must meet certain requirements including achieving a specific market cap, having a majority of its shares in public hands, and being a public company for at least a year.
We should add this note and revise the definition - see IND-109. We also determined that the elements in a basket are determined by some methodology and by some party, and added properties to FBC on the basket class (and a change to the definition of structured collection as well) accordingly.
