Proceedings:
GLEIF is working on corporate actions with respect to legal entity events that might require LEI records to be revised. Because we are also working on corporate actions for IND, we need to track what's happening there. These specific corporate actions would be ones that would trigger the GLEIF to ask the entity to update their record. See https://www.leiroc.org/publications/gls/roc_20181030-1.pdf.
This does not necessarily mean that there will be a mapping from the GLIEF set of corporate actions to the existing ISO 15022/SWIFT codes, which is perhaps something that we could do in FIBO. Stay tuned for more details on what they are going to do, though. The actual XML schema as it stands at the moment is available at https://www.gleif.org/content/2-about-lei/6-common-data-file-format/1-upcoming-versions/2021-03-04_lei-cdf-v3-1.xsd.
This may clarify which corporate actions are security-specific and which are entity-specific, in which case we could create those that are entity-specific in BE, as appropriate.
We also updated SEC-68 to correct the definition of bankers' acceptance, and will continue our discussion of corporate actions next week.
