Proceedings:
Today we continued working through the credit default swaps ontology. We reviewed the concept of a valuation method used to value the underlier of a CDS, and determined that valuation method was a much higher level concept that could apply to any assessment of value. We then added the concept of valuation method to the assessments ontology in FND and linked it via a restriction to value assessment. We also modified the definition of underlying asset valuation in Derivatives Basics to be a kind of value assessment. The changes are in DER-136.
