Today we merged SEC-181 and then discussed other things we could do by the end of the quarter. This includes an update to the MIC codes (need to ping Pete on that).
We looked at Loan Participation Notes first (Syndicated Loans) and decided to pause on that. We then turned to ACTUS. We need the concept of a business calendar, which would include a list of dates that have various definitions, such as non-working days, i.e., bank holidays, weekends etc. in a given jurisdiction. This is currently missing from FIBO and we could add it. We are also missing End of Month Convention, though we have Business Day Convention. We should add that as well to support a mapping to ACTUS. To augment what we currently have with respect to (1) BusinessCalendar, and (2) EndOfMonthConvention, we raised FND-384 to address the gap. Two issues we can address over the next two weeks include: (1) the newly raised FND-384, and (2) FND-382, to add a missing restriction on Occurrence.
Note that there will be no telecon next week due to the OMG Technical Meeting in Reston. Our next call will be on Friday, March 29th, to close out the release.
