Proceedings:

John did a bit more research on underlying assets - he found several definitions and is looking for which is definitive.  Will get back to us with that.

May need to add an explanatory note to corporate actions that states that any action that affects the underlier might impact a derivative based on that underlier.

There are also derivatives based on Funds, including some public ones such as those based on S&P 500 minis, etc., so at some point we will need funds to be integrated to cover derivatives based on such funds.
