Proceedings:
This week we walked through our open issues in JIRA. We discussed "when-issued", which is essentially a temporary identifier for a security that has been authorized (i.e., by a board of directors), but not issued. Traders can put in trades but they won't settle until the security has been issued. This is a security identifier that is exchange independent. Should check with Bloomberg to determine whether there is a FIGI already at any level, aside from at the exchange level, for when-issued shares / bonds, etc.
We also reviewed next steps for the CFI representation (still need to deal with the form a security takes, and add "book entry" as a subclass of registered form), adding an adjusted price as a subclass of security price, a property for lot size on a listing, and also considered other small issues we could close over the next week or so, but nothing is urgent. Options include reworking the CFI individuals once we have all of the relevant subclasses, updating examples to reflect the latest changes in BE as well as to update the representation of LEIs to reflect what is now published on data.world, etc.
Note that there will be no call next week - we've cancelled that due to the holiday, and will resume in the New Year. Our next meeting will be January 4th, 2021.
