Proceedings:
Further discussion on preferred shares: (1) change the property hasCoupon to hasDividend, (2) changes the class name for DividendOrShareCouponSchedule to DividendSchedule, (3) make PreferredDividend a subclass of Dividend and eliminate duplicate restrictions. (made these changes to SEC-73 during the meeting)
Also need a property for adjustable dividend rate, and class for adjustable rate preferred stock as a subclass of preferred share:
An adjustable rate preferred stock (arps) - A type of preferred stock where the dividends issued will vary with a benchmark, most often a T-bill rate. The value of the dividend from the preferred share is set by a predetermined formula to move with rates, and because of this flexibility preferred prices are often more stable then fixed-rate preferred stocks.
Add two classes under preferred share: PreferredShareWithFixedRateDividend and PreferredShareWithAdjustableRateDividend; add the property for the adjustable rate, which should link to a benchmark. Maybe we need FixedRateDividend and AdjustableRateDividend so that we can link the adjustable rate to the benchmark. In any case, these concepts need to be added under preferred shares.
Also started looking at Custodian and Position, and then Accounts, to link a position to an account. The class "BankAccount" in FBC is misleading. It should be BankHeldAccount or BankInternalAccount to distinguish it from what is currently called a FInancialServiceAccount (which should be CustomerAccount). BankInternalAccount includes control account, convenience account ... trading account for trading on the bank's behalf.
Add an explanatory note to InvestmentOrDepositAccount and to LoanOrCreditAccount that they are included for convenience for mapping to schema.org.
There was discussion of the difference between portfolio and account - Ian will look for a definition from Citi, since a customer's portfolio typically spans all of their accounts, but we haven't captured that in the definitions. We also need to link ledger account back to general ledger - we have the inverse property but no restriction on ledger account
