Proceedings:
Regrets this week from Ian Maung, John Tierney, and Scott Orchard.
Discussed issue SEC-115. This is about an exchange-preferred identifier, such as the SEDOL code, which might be the preferred identifier for stocks listed on the London Stock Exchange, or CUSIP for the NYSE, for example. Issue SEC-115 suggests that we should eliminate the class in favor of the property, which should be a property of the listing as agreed on the call.
Issue SEC-116 - add synonym to Listing of 'market listing', remove hasIssue in favor of lists. Also, as of today, Listing does subclass SecurityRegistryEntry, so that aspect of this issue has been addressed. With respect to isCharacterizedBy Scheme - there should be a connection between any registry and the scheme that defines its contents - this should be raised against FBC.
SEC-94 - Elisa send John G. the depositary receipt ontology for review and comment, so that we can move it towards release status.
SEC-70 - TreasurySecurities are issued via an auction, through a complicated auction process. We may want to move these to a separate ontology, and should add the issuer, etc., which might mean that for modularization purposes it would be better to move them out of Bonds and into a USDebtInstruments ontology.
SEC-90 - This restriction is on all debt instruments - should be fixed in FBC in FinancialInstruments.
