Proceedings:

20181119  FIBO  SEC FPT

Discussion of hasCoverageArea as opposed hasJurisdiction for things like national numbering agencies and statistical gathering organizations, e.g., StatsCan

The issue SEC-71  seems to be whether coverage should have a domain that is geographically constrained. Current use cases in play that call for this all reflect a geographical area.

If future use cases call for a broader understanding, we can adjust accordingly.

SEC open issues: down to 9 issues. Mostly manageable.

Elisa Kendall Description of SEC-69: For CommercialPaper I don't understand the use of "typical" in conjunction with DurationToMaturity. Does a specific instrument not have a fixed maturity or a range? Should it not also be AtADiscount as per the T-Bill - since again there is no interest, the income is the different between purchase and par prices.

I see there is a separate class DiscountedCommercialPaper but from the Investopedia definition it would seem that all CommercialPaper is sold at a discount since interest is not paid. That's also reflected in the text for MoneyMarketInstrument.

The current definition of Commercial Paper is: an unsecured short-term debt instrument typically issued by a bank, corporation, or foreign government to obtain funds to meet short-term debt obligations, such as accounts receivable, inventories, or payroll, backed only by an issuing bank or company promise to pay the face amount on the maturity date specified on the note

Action item: RB to propose rewording of definition of Commercial Paper

ExerciseConventions.rdf needs review. Largely a derivatives issue. David to look into it. Sent out for review. TradedShortTermDebt.rdf has some open issues (SEC-68) that will be addressed shortly.

action item: RB to determine if there is a VariablePrincipleBond and what that might be.

Pete Rivett: This has mention of variable principal via bonus
